alrighty then,
I'm Orb, Fancy myself as a bit of a hip hop head, been entrenched in it deep for the last (shit just thought about it...) 20 years or so, earliest favourite noises must have been the Wu, Eric B and Rakim, Run DMC (Don't Hate!)
Music in general just gets me on a vibe, cant live without it, just don't bring me manufactured BS! (I think most will agree on that though)
only really started listening to our lot in the last 4 or 5 years, because frankly most British rappers (that I had heard of) till then were trying to sound like they were American (why?) Skinny man - that guy is just slick. Blade just needs some decent production.
Anyway not really too much into the D&B Scene, but maybe some of you heads can convert me.

Was good to meet all of you lot, Drunken Monk, Vapour, Hasty, Smoothie, Sav, Dave, and that dude that coughed untill he fell asleep after smoking a spliff ( can't remember your name).....  Joined this forum last night and thought I might move over from the local bristol one (which is gettin me down (  )) I love getting drunk, smoking weed, and making music (with a puter).....I DJ too, drum n bass.....and sometimes I sing in a experimental chemical jazz collective.....but I'm the only person in the collective... |
