We are pleased to welcome back Nicky Blackmarket to his second appearance at the Tap n Spile, after the reception he got last year he couldn't wait to get back down here and rinse it out again (although i don't think anyone mentioned to him that the back bit is now shut down and he's gonna be performing in the bar area of the pub!). It's gonna be absoloutly ramjam and we might even startthe music early to accomodate the crowds The capacity for the Venue is approximately 75 people and we will refuse entry to ppl if it is too busy so make sure you are in the building early doors to ensure you don't miss out. The music will be stopping between 9:50 and 10:00pm so we can open the doors and windows and get some fresh air in the building and let everyone else have a bit of a breather.  |

What happened to my post!  Im sure I just put a reply here. Maybe I didn't. Maybe I've started the long tiring road to dementia a bit early. Anyway, what I'm sure I said was.... Fair play on those ideas about having a cool off period and also about limiting entry when it gets rammo. I'm off to lie down.  |

I think that's the best way of doing it - as the fairweather fans can be just that and it's no skin of our nose if they don't come back knowwharramean! although i'm always open to new ideas if anyone would like to share some |

Double David had a pretty good idea. He said about selling personal fans. I dont know where you'd get a bulk order, but I reckon you'd be able to get them quite cheap, plus some cheap-ass batteries that will probly only last the night. You could charge about £2 (depending on how much they cost) and people would definitely buy them. I thought it was quite a good idea, but I dont know how easy it'd be to pull off.

Just wanted to say what a wicked vibe it was inside last night - Lets keep it going!! Had an awesome night and I think that feeling was pretty much with everyone! Felt extremely wank towards the end but it was worth it. Fair play to Mr Hasty at the front getting everyone going!! We wanna be seeing that same sort of vibe next week with Mr Heist and of course Mr Friction |
