Fucking wcked night out
bumped into Hasty of all people when we rocked up in London
as he was at that Fizzy Wednesday thing which is where we parked outside.
Met Genesis Elijah in the queue, which was nice.
We got in just as Oh No and Roc C representing stones throw and the west coast
were on stage. They performed a lively set (with loads of tributes to J Dilla) but i think got a bit narked
off with the crowd (who were mainly students) not being able to sing along to any of their tunes..
They were good though an i enjoyed it, check em out here:

http://www.stonesthrow.com/jukebox/Anyway after they blazed off the stage in a big cloud of ganja smoke this little guy
who looks like a skinny version of triple x sorta slides onstage and starts asking if we can hear him.
Eventually after a sound engineer fixed the levels we could hear him and he began beat boxing.
Dude had skillz, and then he whipped out a sampler and started looping up his beats/tunes.
imagine hearing 'I want you back' by the jacksons recreated by voice, cos thats exactly what he did.
Proper forward thinking stuff His name is slo-mo go check him out and forgive him for looking like a geek.
Then after what seemd like hours of waiting the beggars rocked on, everyone went mad
they played a wicked little set (with complete live backing) of their biggest tunes finishing in a hold on / rage against the machine - killing in the name of type mash up that i wish i'd thought of... They had really good stage presence and got everyone bumping for a bit. I'm gonna upload a little vid onto youtube a bit later on for y'all... but then just as quickly as they appeared it was all over, and time for the scratch perverts.
Obviously no one else in the venue knew this as the place literally emptied, like it was closing or something. So I hung about a foot or two in front of Prime Cuts and Mr Vegas and watched them destroy the decks...
Jeeeeeeeesus

Big up Wizey & Pete for coming along with me, HAsty for being in the right place at the right time and Mikey Deviant for making it all possible...
