 36TH CHAMBER MONTHLY'SAfter months and months of trying to find a decent venue to continue the success of our venom events we have finally found a spot which hit all our targets. We shall be returning to the bricklayers in newbury town centre for a huge monthly event to be hosted on the last sat of every month. Those of you who were lucky enough to reach our nye 05/06 event here will know that the venue is perfect for a decent party. We shall be completly transforming the venue with decor and lighting not to mention putting in 2 huge sound systems for the nights. To add to the proceedings we have enlisted the help from those breakbeat soldiers THUMP who will be turning the outside garden / smoking area into a outdoor breakbeat festival serving up some severely nasty breaks and a bit of hip hop and dubstep action LAUNCH NIGHTSAT 26TH APRIL 0836 HERTZ RECORD LABEL LAUNCH NIGHTFEATURING DJ'S RANDALLThe king of the rollers Dj Randall makes his newbury debut. Undoubtably one of the scenes pioneers with nearly 20 years behind the decks Randall has held down residencys at most of the biggest nights in the history of dnb. We have secured a 90 min set for your enjoyment can you handle the randall? TAXMANSnapped up by Dj Hype on a exclusive contract for his massive real playaz music group Taxman has certainly made a huge name for himself in the industry so far. With the massive " too bad " being the biggest selling release from the playaz camp last year we at the 36th chamber thought it fine time he came and showed us what he is like behind the 1210's DJ VAPOURWith releases on DIGITAL SOUNDBOY / RUFIGE / 31 RECORDS / INTASOUND / EASTSIDE / INNERACTIVE / CIA / DREAD / 36TH CHAMBER / DEEPKUT / MAC II / 36 HERTZ / REINFORCED not to mention remixes lined up for METALHEADZ / CREATIVE SOURCE / MAC 2 / LENNI DE ICE / BOUNCE RECORDS AND OPUS3 things are shaping up quite good for newburys own dj vapour. With his track on the debut 36 hertz release "sting in the tail" being licesned to andy c's forthcoming nightlife 4 mix cd 2008 should be his biggest year yet JEM ONECoventry's Jem One exploded onto the scene last year with a flurry of killer tunes which got him signed up to the 36th chamber music group on the spot. With releases lined up on 36th chamber, Intasound and Vampire recordings aswell as a release on digital soundboy with dj vapour jem is fast showing the scene he is going to be huge HADESIts not very often a artist explodes onto the scene in such a big way with thier first ever tune but birminghams hades has done just that. His debut track entitled "the break" has notched up club and radio play from just about every top dnb dj there is from andy c to goldie. Dj hype informed listeners to his kiss 100 radio show that the track recieved no less than 5 rewinds at his playz night in fabric. I just got a phone call from a mate who didnt come last night but he has been told someone got a knife pulled on them in the brickies. He got told by the bar staff in the Snooty today. Is there any truth in this (as i was out the back most the night) or is it just typical Newbury Chinese whispers and someone trying to put a stop to any sort of fun in town

lol some fool who was kicked out for being pissed (and according to the door staff was a 50+ pisshead and nowt to do with our crowd) he then had a argument with tony the door man and broke the sacred sin of making a move for his back pocket infron of a doorman (which if you are trained as a door man you are told to assume that they are going for a knife) so he got put on the deck asap and arrested nothing major no knife found |

I saw Phil and Mikey struggling with the Subs so went outside to see how phil was getting bk and a cab pulled up luckily so didnt have to carry the subs/records etc anywhere. Just jumped in and went back home. The taxi driver was ranting about how the rave scene was better in the early 90's saying he djed infront of 2000 people at waterside n stuff. lol
