the game files themselves are called rom's (read only memory's..)

those files are emulator files which basically allows you to run programs for different platforms (LIKE GAMES CONSOLE AND SHIT FOR YOUR PC)

hmmm caps

anyway you wanna download a sega mega drive emulator, i can't recommend one though, although smooth says that one works

then download the rom of the game you want and the emulator software should explain how you can use it to play the games...

I had a spectrum zx emulator which worked ok and an old amiga 500 one that only played a few of the games i downloaded so it's not guaranteed to wrk

beyond that, check the help section of the emulator d/l site

they normally got a step by step guide on there somewhere for the noobz

Good good, I get it now. Got it all downloaded and ready on my USB for when I get home from work.

I was talking to the IT guy in my office, and he says that you can get ones that you can download to a CD and then put in your playstation, and then you can play the games on there!! How sick would that be!!? Some bird in my office overheard me n the IT man talking about a megadrive, and she said that she may have one kickin abou her house that if she found, I could have for free!!  happy6

Goldeneye was big bad and heavy..

Smooth - do all of your games work then?

Yeah man all the games I have work...Or atleast they used to so I don't see why they wouldn't now.

Going back on what you were saying about actually downloading onto CD etc, when Mike and me went up to Cambridge some time ago his cousin had downloaded loads of old school mario games and had loaded them up onto his Xbox - Hours of fun!

I know you can configure the controls on emulators you download but not sure how you would manage it once you go as far as to transferring it to a consolem; probably the sameas just using an emulator on the PC I would have thought

The Xbox360 controller will work when plugged into a PC via USB though...

Dunno if it'd work on your dodgy-and-in-no-way-pirated pirated games though! Wink
