like in an genre there's allways gonna be a large percentage you're gonna find to be shit. I used to like alot of stuff that nowadays I don't listen to at all tastes change alot as you grow up and your vision of the world is shaped by lots of things. nowadays I play music that can cross genres and I aim to get people who have a really negative preconception of hiphop to reconsider that some hip hop artists make music they can like. I do have my own little conspiracey theory on why artists like tupac ,biggie , snoop, dre etc gansta ish where pushed so hard into the mainstream by certain people out to create a covert phychological war against hip hop ya know demonize it and discredit it. anyway enuff of my ranty opinion. post up vids of what you think is good hip hop. lol yeh he is i'm not doubting that for a second, just listen to the first company flow LP for proof of this man's genius... What I am saying though is that he's built an empire and deserves respect for it, but there is a whole lot more to the beast we call hip hop today than EL P's eccentric beats and rhymes. His part is safe, but there's aton of other shit out there as well.... |
