As the nights draw in and the days get shorter, THUMP turns up the filth at Iguana with a night of dark, booming beats forged in the fires of Tearout Breaks, Tech-Funk, Drum & Bass and Dubstep! This month, we're proud to welcome a prolific producer and live DJ and one of the rising stars of the Hardcore Beats family - Dom Almond!
Dom Almond has been involved in dance music since the early Nineties when he was inspired by the scratch DJ’s and turntablists of the Hip Hop scene and the dirty groove of Electro.
As both a prolific live DJ and producer, Dom has played alongside a veritable who's who of Dance music legends, including Audio Bully's, Plump DJ's, Stanton Warriors, Seb Fontaine, Eric Prydz, Tim Deluxe, Mutiny, Wayout West, Evil 9, Annie Mac, Adam Freeland, Freestylers, Pendulum, Seb Fontaine, Circulation Savers, MYNC Project, Switch, Futureshock, Steve Angelo and Nic Warren.
Dom is also a member of A Dominant Species with Anya and Special A, with support and radio play coming from both Jay Cunning (Kiss FM) and DJ Icey. They have a releases on L3 Records and Brains Kans Recordings and forthcoming releases on Mechanoise Records and Streetwise records.
Alongside Dom will be THUMP residents Mikey Deviant, 3-Parts DJ, Jambo, Dire Beats and S.U.P, who will be in the place all night to keep Iguana rocking with a steady stream of ear-meltingly good tuneage!
