That's right!

On Sunday 13th September we'll be hosting a MC Battle
at our weekly drum and bass night in The Monument.

The winner will receive a cash prize, as well as the weighty prestige that goes with the title!
 
MC's will be judged on crowd hype, rhymes and clarity.
Original lyrics are the order of the day so don't think you can turn up and recite a bunch of shabba lyrics and expect to get anywhere.

The audience will be the main judge so by bringing a loads of your mates to big you up will definitely increase your chances of walking away with the title.


Still organizing the finer points so i'll modify this post when i got it nailed.

Well if it's on a Sunday I'm likely to be there anyway so I'd probably do it...Are we talking freestyle or just lyrics?

 gimp never understood the old freestylin thing, surely 99% of rhymes are thought up if not written prior to the battle.. for most to say its off the top of the dome is surely lying?

well there aren't really any judges beyond who Neal thinks gets the best response from the crowd
and i'm pretty sure they [the crowd] won't mind whether you're freestylin or dropping verses...
